Fun And Bright Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout

Today I am on ScrapFX blog sharing with you the fun and bright layout I created.

The color theme is inspired by Scrap Around The World march challenge. The mood board is really clean, so I decided to go for a cleaner layout other than what I usually do. The twine in the picture reminded me of scribble lines, so I dug out the scribbled look corner chippies and used it on the picture.  Anyways, hope you like the layout and the tutorial :D

Play With Your Chipies

Hi friends :D

Today I am on Flying Unicorn's Forum hosting a Playdate Thursday. 

I LOVE my chippies! I have been hoarding and using chippies ever since I got my first one. The best thing about them is that you can alter them to fit whatever project you are making.

So in this Playdate Thursday, I want to have y'all play with chippies with me :)

The most common chippie altering methods embossing and painting.

And those are what I did to my chippies here on this tag. I often cut apart my chippies to extend their use and make them suit my projects better.

Anyways, I have rambled enough, let's see the photos :D

Graphic 45 Design Team Audition 2015

Hi Friends :D

Today I am sharing some projects of mine to enter the Graphic 45 2015 design team call. 

I love love love G45 paper! Their design team call is like an event with so many talented souls all showcasing their gorgeous work. Last year I had so much fun participating in the design team call and this year I thought, why not try again! 

I chose these projects are because I think these really represent my styles well. I LOVE making video tutorials, so I embedded couple tutorials for some of the projects to show my love for videos :D

Denim Pocket Mixed Media Altered Canvas for Shimmerz

Hi friends :)

Today I am on Shimmerz blog sharing with you this denim pocket altered canvas. I got this pocket from Michael's awhile ago and I decided to put it on my canvas. Since it's a pocket, I thought why not put something in it, so I just cut a simple tag and put it in the pocket. 

The color combo is inspired by Prima's March PPP challenge. I can never never get enough of teal and mint green. But to add a bit more interest to the canvas, I added just a bit of shabby taupe color to balance the green and blues. The gorgeous taupe color is Spritz: Treasured Hymm.

See the metal little rings? They are just regular jewelry rings. I thought they could be perfect addition to a project and they really are!! I love love how it turned out.

Botanical and Graduation Mixed Media Scrapbook Layouts For ScrapFX

Hi Friends :)

Today I am sharing two layouts for  ScrapFX using their new yummy chippies. This month, we went with graduation and school theme, plus some other really fun word packs. 

I have a tutorial for the 1st layout. I used the words from different fun word packs and chippie flowers   on this layout. Love those wordlets. Those words just add so much to the layout. I cut out many elements from the paper collection and layered them to create pattern.

This is a graduation themed layout. This picture is me and my friends on our graduation day. I want this layout to be very very colorful, and yes, with vibrant colors, not soft colors. Because I really want this layout to show that our future is vibrant and colorful :)

Altered Tea Pot For Flying Unicorn

Hi Friends :)

Today I am sharing an altered tea pot I created using Flying Unicorn's February OTP projects. I was going to have a tutorial but my external hard drive is broken and I just couldn't get it fixed. I tried several methods but its still not working. So I don't want to wait any longer to share this project, lol.

Here it is. I love how it turned out. I challenged myself not to use any patterned paper for the background, but to use only paint, stamp, and texture paste, and I think I did it! Hope you like it:)
