Shimmerz Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout: Girly Teal

Hi Friends :)

Today I am sharing a mixed media layout created for Shimmerz Paints. Boy haven't I had so much fun on this layout! I layered tons of texture, yummy colors, and flowers. Yes, I went for flower crazy on this layout and I LOVE it, might need to do some flower shopping now, lol. The color combo is inspired by Prima's January PPP Challenge. I can never get enough of teal and blue colors.

 Yummy flowers clustered together with some thread and other embellishments. It really adds the shabby girly look.

 I layered a lot of texture and color on the background, so it has a lot of interest through out the whole layout.

ScrapFX Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout & Card

Hi friends :D

Today I am sharing two projects for ScrapFX using tons of their yummy chippies, stamps, and stencils.

I made my first A4 size layout and it was a lot of fun. I went for a vintage theme for the layout. I layered lots of texture and color on the layout. Because I used red and green, its really easy for these two colors to mix and turn into a neutral color, which I let them mixed on purpose on this layout, because the color mix creates a more vintage and distressed feeling here. But for a more vibrant layout, let the two colors dry in between so you don't get the neutral brown.

Purple Color Themed Mixed Media Card (Flying Unicorn Playdate Thursday)

Hi friends :D

Song here with this week's Play Date Thrusday.  I created a purple themed mixed media card using Pion Design My Precious Daughter paper. Just LOVE the soft purple color and the vintage pattern. 

When I was a kid, I really really loved purple color. Everytime my parents went to buy me clothes, I made them get me purple clothes althought I wasn't really successful at this all the time because they don't think I look good in purple, lol. Anyways, when I see the name and the color theme of the paper, it reminded me when I was a little. 

So in this challenge, I think it would be really fun to create some purple color cards together. I can't wait to see your beautiful creations.
