Art Journal Page (Hazel & Ruby)

Hi friends :)

Today I am sharing another cross promotion project for Hazel & Ruby. This time, I really made a good use out of their awesome re-positionable masks, tissue paper, and the yummy scalloped edge washi tape.  I added many layers of beautiful Shimmerz paints and pattern for more depth.

The word "LOVE" was made using the repositional mask. I first positioned the letter to where I want, then I painted gesso all over the mask, then I just peeled it off and leave the letter area clean.

I outlined the masked areas to make them more defined.

Shimmerz Art Journal Page

Hi friends :D

Today I am sharing an art journal page for Shimmerz. On this page, I went heavy with beautiful blue colors with a touch of coral. I added different layers of blue colors and added a bit of black color for adding depth to the color. 

I painted the background using Dazzelerz. Not only they are perfect texture paste, but awesome for using as paint as well. Then I stamped on the dried background and applied some gesso for more distressed look.

Flying Unicorn Winter/Christmas Card

Hi friends :)

Holidays are here, I feel so festive!! Nothing is better than making some projects that match your mood :) Rather than use red and green, I decided to use some silver, grey, gold, and yellow. This is actually inspired by the December Prima PPP challenge. 

Check out Flying Unicorn Store for the yummy goodies! I used Epiphany collection for this card. Because this collection is so distressed, so shabby, and the light colors just matches the winter theme perfectly. 

Added two little resin angels for the shabby look.

 I added some Finnabair microbeads and micaflakes on the background to add more texture.

ScrapFX Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout & Card

Hi Friends :)

Today I am sharing my two DT project for ScrapFX. This month, there are tons of beautiful and detailed Steampunk chippies that just makes me drool nonstop, lol. I absolutely love every each one of them. There is a video tutorial on how I created this layout, please scroll down to watch it. 

                    I layered chipboard and flowers on top of each other to create more depth

You can always cut apart a bigger piece of chipboard to extend its use and to your desired size.

Can you see how detailed the cogs collage is?? Isn't it gorgeous?

Again, the detailed and the intricate design of the steampunk chippie is just beautiful!

Scrapbook Layout For Hazel and Ruby

Hi friends :)

Today I want to share a layout created using yummy Hazel and Ruby and Shimmerz product. Hazel and Ruby carries those beautiful and colorful papers that I am just so in love with. Also, their scalloped edge washi tape is just awesome. 

The cute color dot paper was a 12*12 paper, but I cut it to 10*10 and wrinkled the edges with some water. Then I stamped some cute lace pattern all around it. 

The left over of the 12*12 paper is used to layer with Pic Pockets as the background. Their vibrant colors and pattern adds perfect touches.

I added washi tape to many places to give it extra cute patterns and vibrant colors.

Mixed Media Layout For Once Upon A Sketch

Hi Friends 

December is here and it's surely snowing already where I live. The theme this month is about december, which is perfect if you want to scrap your holiday or winter photos.

It will be the last challenge in Once Upon A Sketch. It has been an awesome place for crafters to come together and share their creativity from all over the world. I remember when I just started out, I always came check out OUAS for inspirations and to get my mojo flowing. And I have always dreamed to be on this team too.When I got the email said that I made it, I was so proud and thankful to Nadia. Best luck and wishes to you Nadia!! I will continue to admire your work and drool on my keyboard when I see your gorgeous work. 

Anyways, more talking would bring tears to my eyes, here is the layout I created for this challenge. Hope you like it.
